Web Developer (C#.Net, API)

Summary:

A very well-known global FTSE250 business services company with a strong ecommerce presence requires a Web Developer to be the key connection between their external developers, customers and all of the internal resources. This role will be working within the online team with very hands on web development and integration involvement and there will also be a strong customer liaison role to play. This position is based in Staines, Middlesex and is paying anything between £40,000 and £55,000 depending on relevant experience.

Ideally, you will possess some of these skills and qualities:

Experienced in commercial web development using .Net (C#) and ASP.Net Experienced in API / SOAP / REST Able to provide high-level technical support (delivery of volume electronic trading links) Can explain externally how the 3rd party API for current business system work Understands the on-boarding of a customer from development, testing through to going live Commercially minded, able to explain the commercials of the deal Understands technical writing and documentation relating to APIs Ability to communicate with technical team around customer issues

Key tasks:

Run and develop the API website and the developer support sections Liaise with technical team (in-house API development team) Act and translates between customer requirements and the technical team Liaise with steering committee to plan releases of new API functionality Key connection between external developers/customers and internal resources
